Per usual, the cheapest flights in this deal will fall under the Discount fare type, which is the cheapest TAP fare type, offering slightly less than basic economy. Even so, all TAP fare types allow passengers to bring one carry-on item and one personal item. Discount fares also include meals on board. Charges for seat selection and checked baggage for these flights start at $25 and $85 one-way, respectively. Plus, this fare type is nonrefundable and charges a $300 change fee.

In addition to the advertised discounted economy fares, TAP has also promoted discounted business-class fares starting at $1,629, including to Portugal, Zurich and Frankfurt.
